Captain America Review

Captain America First Avenger was an original story that obtained success in the comic book world. In the movie Steve Rogers (Chris Evans), is an American that has lost both his mother and father in World War Two. He joins the Army and fights the Nazis. The first half and hour of the movie, the pace is very slow. I am glad that Evans got the role. It was a refreshing attempt to give a role to someone besides a big named Hollywood actor. The beginning part of the movie really drags and has some real cheesy lines, very late 30's early 40's cheese. Stanley Tucci and Tommy Lee Jones save the movie most of the time. This film was a poor attempt to justify the comic series. I spent most of the movie shaking my head. After the first half an hour the movie starts to pick up the pace. This movie is a good "American Hero" crap that has been done over and over again and man just love the hero thing. I would save your money and rent the movie. Some movies are just not a good setting for the theater and Captain America is one of them.

Movies To See!

Movies released recently have lacked quality and substance. However, the movied released today called "Bridesmaids" is a movie that is worth the price of admission. Anything with Kristen Wiig in it will produce plenty of laughter and keep you highly entertained for two hours. Wiig is becoming today's most brilliant comics on the planet. Her hilarious charaters on SNL like Michelle Bachman to Suzie Orman has gained her much deserved praise in her comic abilities. If you want to be entertained and laugh for hours, "Bridesmaids" is a must see. Honestly anything that Wiig produces is a must see. Hope you enjoy. I will be attending the opening screening tonight in Seattle. Boy, do I need a good laugh.
